Activated carbon cartridges
Activated carbon cartridges belong to the Molecular filters (AMC) category (AMC = Airborne Molecular Contamination). They use the principle of adsorption, in which molecules are bound to the porous surface structure of the activated carbon. Filtration of the molecules from the air provides protection against harmful gases and odors. Activated carbon cartridges are used both in industrial processes to protect plant and personnel and in Building Services Engineering to ensure high indoor air quality (IAQ).
