A job for perfectionists: with their work, tool mechanics create the conditions for the series production of a wide variety of components. Maximum precision is their business. They are skilled in manual metalworking methods such as drilling, milling and hammering.

  • Start of training: August 1
  • Duration of training: 3.5 years (shortening possible)
  • Training location: Münster or Nordwalde
  • Vocational school: Münster: Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg / Nordwalde: Hans-Böckler Berufskolleg or Technische Schulen Steinfurt

A clear thing! What you can expect:

  • Maintenance and repair of injection molds, functional testing of electrics, hydraulics, pneumatics and repair of these components
  • Fitting, polishing, spotting and hardening of inserts, pressure pieces and mold cores
  • Manufacturing processes such as drilling, turning, milling and grinding
  • Production of new tools
