Gas turbines, compressors and engines require clean air in order to achieve maximum performance. Turbomachinery and engines are used successfully all over the world, even under the most difficult conditions. Sandstorms cause different problems than monsoon rains.

Product variants
Static filter system
In regions with relatively low dust concentrations, a static filter system is the most practical solution. A two-stage arrangement with pre-filter and fine filter is usually selected in order to achieve the required filter class and service life. Bag filters are usually used in the first stage and compact filter elements in the fine filter stage. For long periods of high humidity and mist, a droplet separator is also integrated. In zones with extremely high levels of open moisture, e.g. in coastal areas, an additional upstream coalescer filter system is recommended.

Pulse filter system
Where there is a high concentration of dust, such as in desert areas and particularly polluted industrial regions, self-cleaning pulse filter systems are used. The dust particles are filtrated online on the surface of the Filter medium. The resulting dust cake is effectively removed by counter-flow pulse jet cleaning with compressed air. Depending on the local conditions, the pulse filter cartridges are arranged horizontally (cross flow system) or vertically (table filter system). Pulse filter systems are operated without an additional anti-icing system.

Depth filter cartridge system
A wide range of applications can be covered with depth filter cartridge systems. The pre-filter, designed as an economical, easy-to-change filter sock, is pulled directly over the depth filter cartridge. The compact design combines maximum filter performance with a long service life. Experience has shown that the anti-icing systems required for static systems can be dispensed with. Depth filter cartridges can also be used as a retrofit for existing pulse filter systems if the filter performance and service life of pulse filter cartridges is not sufficient due to low dust concentrations or high humidity levels.

MultiMaster-Vario air duct filter
The MultiMaster-Vario type universal air duct filter enables individual solutions for a wide range of applications. The system is equipped with static filters, such as Filter mats, Bag filters, Filter Elements and roll filters. Filter classes from G2 to H13 can be represented. Thanks to their innovative design, the housings are extremely stable and durable.

Pulse filter PowerTower
With the standard pulse filter system of the PowerTower type, the technical advantages of the pulse filter cartridges can also be realized cost-effectively for smaller air volumes. Accordingly, the PowerTower is used in particular for motors and smaller compressors. This development can be equipped with either horizontally or vertically suspended cartridges. While skirt plates ensure adequate coverage in the suspended cartridges, droplet separators are integrated into the intake opening as standard in the horizontal version.
