Air intake filter for gas turbines
Mobile test stand for air intake systems for gas turbines
Test new filter cartridge types in an operating environment that simulates a gas turbine air intake system.
The mobile test rig of Hengst Filtration offers power plants a unique opportunity to conduct on-site, risk-free testing of two filter cartridges simultaneously before making any investment in new filtration technology.
Our advanced mobile test rig replicates a complete gas turbine air intake system and allows the efficiency of existing Filter cartridges to be compared with new filter alternatives. The test rig has pulse cleaning capabilities and is operated directly on site.
The test system allows two Filter cartridges or sets to be tested simultaneously. It also offers comprehensive monitoring through sensors that record airflow, pressure drop, power consumption, humidity and particle penetration and store them for detailed analysis. In addition, the test bench has an adjustable airflow rate to simulate real air intake conditions.
Risk-free, site-specific testing
Equipped with a remote data logger, the mobile test bench collects data in a database. This information is shared with you so that you can analyze the filter performance depending on the specific environmental conditions over a specific test period. In this way, you can make informed decisions about which filters to install based on empirical results.
The mobile test rig is a cost-effective way to determine the most suitable filters for your air intake systems. The tests can be carried out over a period of 2-3 months at minimal cost. This minimizes the risk of a complete overhaul of the air intake system.
