Smoke extraction systems ensure a safe working environment and the protection of the surgical team and patients. The filter solutions from Hengst are an elementary component and can be tailored to individual requirements. For example, the 5-stage smoke filter reliably removes 99.9995% of all particles down to 0.1 μm in accordance with the ULPA standard.

Our efficient smoke gas filters consist of up to five filter stages and have a long service life. To protect patients and operating room staff, the incoming and outgoing air is effectively filtered of viruses, bacteria and harmful gases during interventions close to the patient (e.g. in the endoscopic area).

The high-performance filters in accordance with DIN EN 1822 according to EPA / HEPA or ULPA can be equipped with activated carbon media for harmful gas adsorption and a special membrane technology for Water separator, for example. They are manufactured using biocompatible adhesives and plastics as well as filter material with a low bacterial load in accordance with internationally harmonized standards.
