Our logistics are at least as important as the manufacture of our products. After all, we want our filters to reach all corners of the world as quickly and accurately as possible. That's why we have a large site logistics department at our headquarters in Münster and a site and distribution logistics department at our plant in Nordwalde, Münsterland.

In total, around 150 colleagues work in logistics at Hengst. In Münster, they look after almost 10,000 storage locations with around one million stock movements per year. We ship around 115 pallets from Münster every day, which corresponds to between six and eight trucks.

In Nordwalde, we have a total of more than 20,000 storage locations in the two warehouses. We pick around 40 million components there every year and dispatch around 120,000 pallets - primarily for the independent aftermarket.

Your career fields in logistics at Hengst

The two most important professions in our logistics department are production logistics specialist and order picker. Here is an overview of the tasks and what you ideally need to bring with you.

Production Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks as a production logistician (m/f/d) at Hengst:

Taking on the interface function between production and logistics
Supply and, if necessary, disposal of the material required for production
Picking and loading the goods
Carrying out stock checks and inventories
Taking on special logistics projects

Target group:

Completed vocational training in logistics (ideally as a logistics specialist)
Ideally initial professional experience in a comparable position
Strong independence, communication skills and personal responsibility
Ideally a valid forklift license
Willingness to work in three-shift operation

Order picker (m/f/d)

Your tasks as an order picker (m/f/d) at Hengst:

Picking customer orders for the Independent Aftermarket division
Packaging goods for international shipping
Driving order picking vehicles and reach trucks
Carrying out inventories

Target group:

Successfully completed logistics training (e.g. as a warehouse logistics specialist), alternatively several years of professional experience in a comparable position
Valid forklift license and experience with the operation of industrial trucks
Good knowledge of German
Independence and physical resilience

Logistics employee (m/f/d)

Your tasks as a Logistician (m/f/d) at Hengst:

Ensuring the flow of materials through transportation to the production areas
Loading and unloading trucks
Picking materials (e.g. from the small parts warehouse)
Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventories

Target group:

Ideally completed logistics training, but career changers with an interest in logistics are also welcome
Ideally initial work experience in logistics
Ideally a valid forklift license (exams can also be made up for with our support)
Good knowledge of German
