FFP2

Premium FFP2 mask NR without valve according to EN 149:2001 + A1:2009

A correctly used FFP mask protects the wearer from viruses. Even the smallest particles are removed from the air by the filter materials used. The FFP2 mask filters the air both when breathing in and out, providing reliable all-round protection against fine particles, including non-volatile liquid particles/aerosols. The low breathing resistance guarantees safe and comfortable use at work and leisure.

The masks are made of high-quality fleece and were manufactured in Germany and CE-certified in accordance with EN 149:2001 + A1:2009. Compliant with the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 risk category III (protection against substances and mixtures hazardous to health and harmful biological agents).

The comfortable fit with adjustable nose clip and self-adjusting ear strap has a secure cut and offers low breathing resistance.

Application

Check the mask for damage, contamination and moisture before putting it on. Open the mask with the nose clip at the top and place it over your mouth and nose. The edge must lie with the nose clip on the bridge of the nose. Align the mask and press the nose clip against the bridge of your nose. Place the ear straps over the ears on both sides. Check that the mask is tight.

Fitting the mask

Press the nose clip firmly against your nose to ensure a tight fit. Check the tight fit of the mask by carrying out a breath test. The mask must be sucked noticeably against the face when breathing in. If air enters the mask around the nose, correct the fit using the nose clip.

The mask should be replaced as soon as the mask is no longer tight, e.g. due to a hole, or if it no longer fits snugly after prolonged use. Or if the air resistance increases noticeably, e.g. if the mask is soaked with dirt.

Duration of use

The mask is intended to be used for one shift (approx. 8 hours) under normal conditions. The mask is only suitable for single use.

Removing the mask

To remove the mask, pull the ear straps forward over the ears. The outside of the mask may be contaminated with aerosol. Avoid contact.

Product description

The FFP2 mask without valve has a 3-layer construction with a protective spin fleece outer layer, special inner layers with meltblown and a particularly skin-friendly inner layer. The mask is characterized by a particularly good skin compatibility and is free of harmful substances, certified according to ÖKO-TEX STANDARD 100.

The mask has less than half the approved breathing resistance compared to the EN 149:2001+A1:2009 standard, thus ensuring that the wearer's own performance is noticeably maintained and less impaired.

The elastic, round-woven ear straps ensure maximum comfort. They can be stretched to 3 times their original length and therefore adapt perfectly to most head shapes. The flexible, bendable wire nose clip ensures a good fit.

It is CE certified according to (EU) 2016/425 and has a type examination according to the European standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009 for particle-filtering half masks. The test requirements include filter permeability, extended exposure tests (loading), flammability, breathing resistance and total leakage.

Warnings & restrictions

It is unlikely that the leakage requirements will be met if there is facial hair between the sealing line of the mask and the face. The mask provides protection against particles, there is no protection against gaseous substances. Ensure that the air is of sufficient quality with regard to (gaseous) impurities and oxygen content; do not use in an explosive atmosphere. If the mask is damaged, please do not use it. If the mask does not fit tightly (see Mask fit), adequate protection cannot be guaranteed. Only put on the mask with clean hands to avoid contamination.

Storage and transportation

Particle-filtering half masks can be stored for 4 years from the production date. The end of the storage period is indicated on the Packaging. Before use, make sure that the product has not expired.
