Balș. Hengst Filtration has opened a new site in Balș, Romania, and is now represented in a total of 13 countries. The filtration specialist from Münsterland has thus added another important building block in its production chain to its portfolio. The Balș plant, which covers an area of up to 15,000 square meters, will primarily produce filters for the "Filtration for Home and Profession" sector, i.e. for cleaning appliances and power tools in the private and professional sectors.
We have found a great production building in Balș, which we were able to quickly adapt to our needs. We expect to have more flexibility in production in Balș, especially for products with smaller quantities. Balș is therefore another example of our transformation from an automotive supplier to a filtration specialist in many areas.
