Münster. Hengst bundles its expertise in the field of industrial air filtration and merges the two brands DELBAG and Nordic Air Filtration under the umbrella brand Hengst Filtration.

Purifying our planet also means: sustainable and efficient air filtration

In recent years, DELBAG and Nordic Air Filtration have already embarked on a joint mission: to develop sustainable and energy-efficient products. The new HEPA filters MacroPur PRO and AbsoPur PRO from DELBAG have a significantly lower differential pressure and therefore reduce energy costs during operation by up to 40 percent compared to other models. In addition, DELBAG uses Filter cartridges from Nordic Air Filtration in its dry separators and increases the operating time through improved dust cleaning.

In applications with high air quality requirements for employees and processes, such as in the food industry or various industrial processes, different filter efficiency classes and housing designs are necessary. The DELBAG portfolio focuses on the development of pocket, compact and activated carbon filter cartridges as well as industrial extraction units and air intake systems. At Nordic Air Filtration, the focus is on the development of static and cleanable filter cartridges with a wide range of filter media. By pooling this experience, customers benefit from a full range of products from a single source.

Future innovation through TechCenter Filtration in Münster

The existing locations of DELBAG (Herne, DE; Liberec, CZ; Lezennes, FR) and Nordic Air Filtration (Nakskov, DK; Fujairah, UAE) will retain development and sales functions. These will be supplemented by the new TechCenter Filtration in Münster, Germany. Since October 2023, Hengst has been bundling all innovative forces for the filtration solutions of the future there and supporting the Group's global development teams.
