The numbers are impressive, and so are our colleagues! Our logistics team achieves truly great feats – help us do this!

Our logistics are just as important as the production of our products. After all, our filters should reach all parts of the world as quickly and precisely as possible. That’s why there are large on-site logistics at our headquarters in Münster, and why our plant in Nordwalde in the region of Münster has on-site logistics and outbound logistics.

In total, nearly 150 colleagues work in logistics at Hengst. In Münster, they look after nearly 10,000 storage spaces every year with round about one million stock movements. We ship out around 115 pallets – or around between six and eight trucks – from Münster every day.

Both our warehouses in Nordwalde even have more than 20,000 storage spaces overall. We pick and pack roughly 40 million components there every year and ship around 120,000 pallets – intended primarily for the independent aftermarket.

Professional fields in Logistics at Hengst

The two most important occupations in our Logistics unit are specialists in production logistics and order pickers. A list of their responsibilities and the skills you ideally need to have for them is provided below.

Specialist in production logistics (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as a production logistics specialist (m/f/d) at Hengst:

Serve as the liaison between Production and Logistics
Supply and if necessary disposal of materials required for production
Picking and loading of goods
Execution of inventory audits and stocktaking
Responsibility for special logistics projects

Target group:

Completed vocational training in logistics (ideally as specialist for logistics)
Ideally first work experience in a similar position
Distinct ability to work independently, good communication skills, and personal sense of responsibility
Ideally valid forklift license
Prepared to work in three-shift operation

Locations:

Münster, Nordwalde, Ketsch

Order picker (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as an order picker (m/f/d) at Hengst:

Picking of orders from customers in the Independent Aftermarket sector
Packaging of goods for international shipment
Operation of picking vehicles and reach trucks
Execution of stocktaking

Target group:

Successfully completed training in logistics (e.g., warehouse logistics specialist), alternatively several years of work experience in a similar position
Valid forklift license and experience operating forklifts
Good knowledge of German
Ability to act independently and good physical fitness

Logistics employee (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities as an logistics employee (m/f/d) at Hengst:

Carry out transport to production areas in order to ensure the flow of materials
Loading and unloading of trucks
Picking of materials (e.g., from small parts warehouse)
Execution of inventory audits and assistance with stocktaking

Target group:

Ideally successfully completed training in logistics, lateral entrant with an interest in logistics are also welcome
Ideally first work experience in logistics
Ideally valid forklift license (we will also help you to make up for exams)
Good knowledge of German
