Fraudulent e-mails – Be cautious!

It has come to our knowledge that an e-mail with subject “Hengst SE & Co. KG” has been sent to you with a sender looking like Dr. Robert Stößer, from the address “dr_robertstober@hengst.de”. This is NOT from us, someone is using our name for a fraud.

The e-mail says: “Hi, Good day to you. Do you have a moment to chat on email? I have a very benefiting business obligation that I would like you to complete ASAP. Warmest regards …<signature>“

  1. Please be aware that this is a fraud attempt. We suppose your email address was collected from somewhere where you may be listed as our partner. Mr. Stößer has not sent out this email.

 

  1. Please do not implement any changes in your payment terms to us. All payments to Hengst should be done against official invoice or proforma invoice with the same bank accounts as earlier. In case you are uncertain, please contact it-security(at)hengst.de.

 

  1. For your own safety, we recommend you to look over your current anti-virus and firewall protection.
